VDO REDI-Sensor TPMS Sensors

Until now, TPMS service had been growing more and more complex, with competing sensor standards, multiple scan and trigger tools and expensive software updates. Now, the VDO REDI-Sensor brings simplicity, ease of installation and better profit potential to TPMS service. We’ve developed a new technological breakthrough based on the concept of having one TPMS sensor work with multiple makes and models.

Works with major TPMS scan tools.

If a shop has the tools to handle OE sensors, it’s ready for REDI-Sensor. Unlike other sensors that require the purchase of specialized tools and software upgrades, no additional purchases, training or investments are needed with REDI-Sensor. It works with all major TPMS scan tools, including ATEQ, Bartec, OTC and T.I.P.S. With REDI-Sensor, technicians can use the OE scan tool procedures for TPMS service – no new service routines are required.

Ready to install right out of the box.

REDI-Sensor requires no special programming and relearns to the vehicle just like an OE sensor. While some other multi-application sensors require added cost and labor to program a blank sensor with specialized tools and software, REDI-Sensor comes ready to go, right out of the box.

Faster hunt mode.

REDI-Sensor saves valuable time during the vehicle relearn process, when using trigger tools that incorporate a hunt mode. REDI-Sensor uses an “intelligent design” to wake faster and deliver positive results sooner. This prevents the relearn process from timing out, which eliminates the need to redo the procedure.

Eliminates lost service opportunities.

Service shops only need to keep a small supply of REDI-Sensors on hand to be ready to service practically any vehicle that comes in. No waiting for a part delivery and no lost sales to drivers that can’t leave their vehicle.

REDI-Sensor covers over 90% of GM, Ford and Chrysler applications.

VDO REDI-Sensor provides multi-application coverage for a broad range of cars, vans, SUVs, crossovers and light trucks from 2002 – 2011.

Note:  Asian and European applications are under development.
